We're Gorilla Biscuits, a hardcore punk band from New York City. This is our store, and every design in it comes from our world: the gorilla, the GB logo, the records and the shows.
Who are Gorilla Biscuits?
A New York hardcore band: Arthur Smilios and Anthony "Civ" Civorelli met in high school and started the band in New York City in 1986. Our sound sits in New York hardcore and youth crew: fast, loud and made for a room that sings along.
Today's lineup: Civ on vocals, Walter Schreifels on guitar, Arthur Smilios on bass, Luke Abbey on drums, and Charlie Garriga on guitar since 2019.
Where does the name come from?
A placeholder that stuck: "Gorilla Biscuits" started as a temporary name for an early gig. It never went away, and neither did we.
Which label are we on?
Revelation Records, since 1988. Our self-titled 7″ EP came out on Revelation that year, and our first album, Start Today, followed in 1989.
What have we been up to?
On and off, and back again: we played from 1986 to 1992, came together for a one-off show in 1997, and have been back since 2005. Along the way we toured the US once and Europe twice in our first run, then went out again on the 2006 reunion tour and a European tour in 2007.

Every design on every garment: the grinning gorilla in the GB cap, our block-letter name and more, on tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies, with kids' and youth sizes too. Every product page has its own size chart.
