Back on Stage: Our Shows Since 2005
We stopped in 1992. We played a one-off show in 1997. And in 2005 we came back for good. Here are some of the shows since then.
Where did the comeback start?
CBGB, 14 August 2005: a benefit show, back home in New York City.
What happened next?
The 2006 reunion tour: our first real run of shows in years, with At the Matinee, two new songs, on sale along the way.
Europe, September 2007: back across the Atlantic, where we'd toured twice in our first run.
Which shows stand out?
Black N Blue Bowl, Webster Hall, 28 May 2011: a New York hardcore night in a New York room.
Revelation Records' 25th anniversary, Pomona, June 2012: celebrating the label behind our EP and Start Today.
This Is Hardcore, Philadelphia, 6 August 2016: one more packed room, one more singalong.
What's a Gorilla Biscuits show like?
Close and loud: the crowd up front, people on the stage, everyone singing the words back. That's the energy our photos and designs come from.
What should I wear to a show?
Something you can move in: a tee for a hot room, a hoodie for the line outside. Every design comes on tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies.
